Yup, Flash really sucks

I'm not a big fan of ZDNet, not that it's a bad website, I just can do without volumes of stuff to read about that I never intend to act upon.

But, every now and then you read a quote that captures a sentiment better than you could ever frame, and ZDNet had one for me today on the subject of why Macromedia/Adobe Flash sucks.

Quote:

Flash-based web sites are quite possibly one of the most useful pieces of network technology around. Like heroin or microlights, they ensure that those who think it's a good idea aren't around to annoy us for too long.
